How it works…
Step One
RESEARCH
Once you’ve booked your design slot and paid your deposit, we’ll begin the research phase with a questionaire to take a deep dive into your target market, vision, values and business goals. We then explore your visual identity through evaluation of your branding assets and moodboarding via Pinterest.
Step Two
STRATEGY
After your written and visual content is provided, I will work with you to determine your customer journey through your site map and content planning exercises. We will then workshop strategies to engage your audience with an emphasis on coversion.
Step Three
DESIGN
Using the brief created from the research and strategy phases, I set to work creating your Home Page concept to determine the look and feel of your entire website. Once the concept is approved, I then begin to roll out your secondary pages using the home page as a visual guide.
Step Four
LAUNCH
After your website passes the quality checks for testing and responsiveness, we then get the Champagne ready and prepare your website launch! All of my website packages come with training and 30 days post launch assistance to make sure you get off to a flying start!

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you use a pre-designed template to create your websites?
No, each and every Studio La Luna website starts from a blank white page. Your website design is created from a mix of your brief and moodboard, your specific product or service offering and my expertise in website design. Whilst I have a particular design style, no two websites will ever be the same when you choose from my bespoke website packages.
Can I edit and make changes on the website myself?
You sure can. In fact, using a platform that is easily maintained by my clients is a top priority.
I exclusively use a ‘drag and drop’ style editor to make this as easy for my clients as possible. Upon handover, I’ll take you through training to put control of your website in your hands.
Of course, if editing your website is not on your to-do list (we get it, you don’t have the time or tech just isn’t your thing), then we offer ongoing admin services at an hourly rate to do this for you.
What CMS are your websites built on?
I exclusively design websites using WordPress. WordPress is an open source platform meaning it is free from ongoing costs and offers unlimited range of flexibility to customise your website to suit your specific needs.
Are there any ongoing costs or license fees?
My base website packages do not have any ongoing costs or license fees.
However, in some cases you might require specific functionality in addition to my base packages: for example, this might need a hire or wholesale system. The need for ongoing software licenses are rare and any paid applications are always submitted for approval prior.
Your website will require hosting which is around $10-$15 per month depending on the service provider. Domain name registration is approx $20 per year, again depending on your service provider.
Can you recommend somewhere to purchase my domain name and hosting?
I sure can! I have worked with a number of hosting providers and not all hosts are created equal. I can recommend hosts with amazing service, affordable rates and must have functions.
Wait, back up, what is a host?
Your host is kind of like your internet landlord. It is the space that you hire that holds all of your website files and allows them to access the internet.
While you are at it…what is a domain?
The domain is what you call your website. Ie. www.studiolaluna.com.au
I’m going to book a website, can I get a custom email address too?
You sure can. You can normally set this up with your host and some even offer a free webmail service. However for ease of set up and integration, I highly recommend setting up a Google business email account. I can offer this as an additional service if you require this set up for you.
Can you also design my logo/branding & other assets?

Can you write my website content?
Whilst I don’t do this personally, we regularly work with and recommend an ah-mazing copywriter, Laura from Copyette. You can find out more about these services here.
Can you give me advice on photography and images for my website?
Absolutely, this is a personal passion of mine! I will assist you to assess what imagery you already have and then work from there to fill the gaps including the best approach to take – like stock image or commissioning a photographer.
